Constructed of zink, the obverse consisting of a round oak leaf wreath, with a central Tirol style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika superimposed on a target, above a banner reading MEISTER SCHTZE 1942), the reverse with a horizontal pinback, maker marked CARL POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN, measuring 62 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
