Pöllath Schrobenhausen Auction Archive Scabbard is straight with aluminumBadge in solid silver, hollow center, 45. 0mm x 73. 3mm, weighs 28. 8 grams, pin marked C. Pllath Schrobenh. Silber; badge was initially made as pilot's badge, then it was "converted" into "Commemorative " by means of cutting center field out (file marks clearly evident) and inserting the eagle. Most likely done in Pllath factory. For similar "inserted eagle" badge see C. Baldes book, pages 116 117. A very scarce badge.
