Birsay Disc Brooch in 9ct Yellow Gold SageCode-9Y-P204 This Celtic pendant necklace inThis Birsay Disc brooch in classic 9ct yellow gold measures approximately 28mm in diameter and features a triskele of trumpet spirals. The design is reminiscent of porpoise like figures swirling in the sea. The Birsay Disc collection was inspired by a small lead disc found on the Brough of Birsay in Orkney. The Brough, a small tidal island, supported a thriving metalworking industry from the 7th to the late 8th century. A rich array of brooches, rings
