A little more delicate to the weather but with a little protection the tree should have no problem thriving in your backyard. A little bit of a shy producer here in SoCal but it produces greatly after a year or two in the ground. The Fruit is extremely sweet and overpowering which is why they call it the "King Of Mangos".
