Later in 1951 it became known as the "Telecaster" and has not changed since! This 2020 70th Anniversary Heavy Relic Broadcaster pays tribute to that short window in history. This Heavy Relic is finished in the original flash coat lacquer. The one piece maple neck has a 1950
