SUTHERLAND HUNTING (MODERN) Choose:By the metre The chiefship of Clan MacGillivrayOften represented as a district tartan, the sett is the same as the Black Watch but usually woven in lighter shades with azure replacing the dark blue of the Black Watch. As worn by the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders it is kilted to show the green, whereas with the Black Watch it is kilted to show the blue.
