Greece, Kingdom. An Order of the Redeemer, Commander, c.1920 Auction Spain: Order of Military Merit( ). Instituted on May 20th, 1833. Type II (1863 1924). In silver gilt, a white enamelled Maltese cross with a green enamelled laurel and oak wreath in the quadrants between the arms of the cross, the obverse with a circular central medallion bearing a delicately hand painted portrait of Jesus Christ, surrounded by a blue enamelled ring inscribed (Thy Right Hand, O Lord, is Majestic in Strength), the reverse with a blue enamelled circular central
