Trillium maculatum Dorchester Light Shade starting in early July (NC)(aka: Trillium maculatum A3SC 012) Trillium maculatum 'Dorchester' is our 2021 introduction of seed grown, flowering sized plants from a population in Dorchester County, SC. The 1' tall specimens are topped, starting for us around Valentine's Day with lovely mottled foliage and upright violet, spathulate petals. Trillium maculatum prefers an average to slightly moist soil for best performance.
