Cram Company, Inc Indianapolis, IN This vintage Markable Kleenable Cram's Beginner's Map of the World features the "Armadillo Projection," or orthoapsidal view, of the world map which is a projection that appears to wrap the globe onto the outer half of a torus (a donut shape). It was developed by Erwin Raisz in 1943 and is known for its unique, curved appearance, resembling an armadillo's shell, which we see here. That places the
