Nepenthes truncata "JB" comes from the collection of the late Jim Bockowski and has produced pitchers 19 inches tall while our truncata (d) is from Exotica's red flush line and produces huge pitchers with elaborately flared peristomes

This is a seed grown plant so there is some genetic variation expected

It can be a challenging species in cultivation and we recommend reading Francois Mey's blog post
